Quote of the Day 03/11/2012

"Glory, surely, is the noblest ambition of free men."

The girl in white.

Sitting in the corner dressed in white.

Was the girl that I saw just the other night

She managed to sneak out from deep in my dreams.

Strolling through my life what could it mean?

She said she walks alone against the wind.

She said she lives in a world without sin.

I caught her once with a smile she couldn't fake

And then I left her with a decision she couldn't make.

I walked out alone into the cold, wet night.

Stumbling through the darkness with my soul so light.

Behind visions of mine alone.

Becoming a walking and smoking drone.

Sifting the future through my waking dreams.

My body moves along with the drunken themes.

This third time together I'm sure we'll meet.

Examine each other to the quickening beat.

Time passes slow when we almost touch.

Sharing the smoke of a burning dutch.

When I'm with you I feel at home.

Forever waiting to be left alone.

Watching the snowflakes turn to rays of sun.

Ready for the season with a loaded gun.

You've given our knives a sharp new edge.

You're ready for the end so you can go to bed.

Cleverly knowing that I had time,

I began drafting a plan that blew my mind.

Your response wasn't quick and it wasn't swift.

That's exactly how your threw me right off the cliff.

Good thing long ago I learned how to fly.

Although it wasn't til then that I gave it a try.

You were beautiful while falling so full of grace.

A smile like that never have I seen on any face.

There is no more danger once you master an art.

That is if your intent was pure from the start.

Anyone else would have seen you die,

But I look at life with an open third eye.

I wanna discover you hidden grooves,

While I give you a sample of my new moves.

It's always such a pity to see you go.

But since your walking away, will you do it slow?
