I lit a cigarette as you began to cross the street.
Both understanding it was the smile that made my heart stop.
I was gladly falling for you like frozen raindrops
Tripping off the clouds created by your calculated subtleties.
The air pressure grew slowly feeding the crops
Of our vast fields of reason soon reaping bountiful realities.
Allowing the sweet aroma of unimaginable possibilities
To waft casually into your perception
Revolution becoming the only possibility.
We'll destroy the rationality of the normal methods of corruption.
While we manifest new reason simply by creating a function.
While frozen raindrops begin falling between our heads.
You'll sweetly whisper that our paths are at a junction.
Trumping the silence a deep kiss is what I said.
We continued on slowly, our hands linking turning your cheeks bright red.
I light two more cigarettes as we finished crossing the street.
